Lloyd Bannings is back in his hometown, following his brother’s footsteps and joining an organization called the Crossbell Police Department. He’s assigned to an area called the Special Support Section division, which is responsible for odd tasks and aids the needy. He and his team soon come across the dark side the city as well and some dark secret.

Crossbell was the site of a continuing territorial battle in two states: the Republic of Calvard and the Erebonian Emperor. Since then, it has developed to become a vibrant city-state which is one of the most significant economic centers across the continent.
Lloyd Bannings, who spent three years in exile from Crossbell, is returning to the town he grew up in to continue his brother’s legacy and join Crossbell Police Department. However, when he arrives, he finds he’s been placed in the Special Support Section, a new division that handles small-scale requests and odd jobs. His new coworkers who include Elie MacDowell, the niece of the city’s mayor; Randy Orlando, a womanizing former soldier; and Tio Plato, a young techno-savant.
Although their police department is slammed by the media, and snubbed on by the rest in the CPD, Lloyd and his friends continue to fight for their city to become a better place. As time passes, they are confronted by the corruption infiltrating their community. It isn’t clear how deep the shadows of Crossbell City go…
